I am Liz, a digital product designer based in Canada.
My journey into UX design began as an art development officer, guiding students to create solutions for the elderly. Our first project, a low-fidelity mahjong game, failed due to a lack of user research. This taught me the importance of a user-centered approach to avoid wasting time and resources and to maximize impact.
Determined to solve meaningful problems and create positive change, I immersed myself in product and UX design. I dedicated myself to identifying the right problems through thorough research and crafting evidence-based solutions that truly enhance people's lives.
My guiding principle is simple yet profound: "Design the right thing, Design the thing right."
My Experience
I have a successful track record of leading and managing over ten B2B and B2C design projects for multi-platform products. These include data visualization dashboards, AI-driven human-machine interfaces, inventory management systems, and an e-commerce website.
I've collaborated with government and business professionals, as well as users, to align with their goals through product strategy. Working closely with a cross-functional team comprising project managers, AI engineers, and developers, I've ensured comprehensive execution. Beyond design, I possess a keen understanding of balancing business objectives and user needs, as well as tracking analytics to ensure project success.
